Match Report - 16 Oct 2010, Western Wildcats Hockey Club Men 5 beat Irvine
Another win for the 5's mean they are still unbeaten this year going into what will be the biggest game of the season next sat against Gordonians in the cup. A 2-0 win over Irvine courtesy of 2 reverstick shots from Robbie and Luke. Alex also hit the post with a reverse hit as well. Richard also made a wonderful save after having started diving the wrong way, stretching out his stick full length the other way to stop the ball from going in to keep the 3rd clean sheet in a row for the 5's.
I also must thank Spud for coming out to umpire for us and giving gavin a deserved green card, which i hope will make him shut up a bit.
