Match Report - 15 Jan 2011, Western Wildcats Hockey Club Men 5 drew with EK/Avondale 3
Struggling to find even the 10 men we fielded the fives put on a brave show in freezing temperatures, driving rain and high winds. By half time we were 2-0 down but at no point did our heads go down. Soon into the second half Stuart O'Toole showed that the game was far from over. Seeing that there was still some fight left in us seemed to dismay the EK boys and Cameron Lawes capitalised on this bringing the scores level. Unfortunately we couldn't find a winner but it was another exceptional performance by the fives.
