Match Report - 05 Mar 2011, Western Wildcats Hockey Club Men 5 beat Clydesdale 5
The fives faced off against what seemed to be a very young, but exceptionally talented, Clydesdale team. The game was played almost end to end with few chances for the western boys. Opportunities were however missed from short corner attempts, eventually Colin Douglas managed to edge us into the lead shortly before halftime allowing us to refocus. Although we led we were never comfortable and likely only remained in the lead due to the efforts of our superstar international goal keeper Richard Higham. A tough game but another 3 pints for the fives.
