Match Report - 15 Oct 2011, Western Wildcats Hockey Club Men 6 lost to Clydesdale 5
This game was dominated by Clydesdale and we were lucky to get away with just losing the one goal. This was our first game on their new pitch and i think i took some of us time to get used to the bouncy pitch. For the most part our defense was pretty solid and we didn't let clydesdale get too many shots on goal, and most of the shots on goal were well saved by Pat in goal. We had another couple of juniors making their debut for the team today in Lewis Murray who started off on the wing before being moved up front in the second half and played well there. Our other debutant was Cameron McKechnie who like his brother comes from a shinty back ground which came throught a lot in his play, hopefully we can convert these shinty skills more fully into hockey too.
