Match Report - 05 Feb 2012, Western Wildcats Hockey Club Men 6 lost to Hillhead 1's Indoor
This was always going to be a tougth game espcially when looking up the Hillhead team I noticed that Alan Meikle was captaining the Hillhead team. Thanksfully for us Alan decided to umpire the first half of the game before playing the second half. Hillhead took a 2-0 lead but we managed to to get back into the game through Fraz and young Rory McD scoring his first senior for the club after good work from Neil getting passed players and passing the ball past the goalie to Rory to put into the empty net.
It was 2-2 going at the half, and everyone had been playing well. Unfortunately Hillhead made a very quick start and within 30 seconds Hillhead had gone back in front and then scored another we eventally managed after swapping some more goals get the score to 5-4 with not long left, with us pusing forward to get teh goals we needed to win Hillhead eventualy get a 6th goal to secure the match.
Everyone played very well against what was a very good hillhead team and the game was played in a very friendly manner.
