Western Wildcats Hockey Club

Hi Everyone, I joined Western in the 84/85 season, from Glasgow Asians, and played for the 1’s until '95. Thereafter I played a few seasons in the 2’s and then 3’s with interdispersed ‘’hanging up the boots” phases. In my checkered past, I have also turned out in the colours of Clydesdale, Glasgow Indians, Stepps, Anchor, and Shields. Now back, yet again, after another retiral to, hopefully, re-acquaint myself the Club. Cheers, Khalid.

Occassionaly play something resembling hockey with limited stick skills, but have an unerring ability to hit things quite hard,sometimes even the ball! Don't understand the concept of "team game" and therefore am deaf to team talks.Body now resembles a wreck which physios have made millions from. Love playing hockey as it is the most fun I can have during the short time I am out on parole. Have a few psychological issues which I only discuss with my vet!

I used to play for Western eighteen years ago and have just come back. I used to be pretty good, now I'm not.

I have been a member of Western Wildcats for 18 years. I play when ever I can and would play every day if I could, I love hockey. Looking forward to the start of the season again.
