It was an absolute nail-biter yesterday at Glasgow Green but the Men's 1s' resilience and determination got them over the line by a single Fraser Moran goal to nil against Grange. The Chaps had an abundance of corners and the lion's share of possession but defensive discipline and outstanding goalkeeping from Gavin Somerville ensured Western's third consecutive national championship.
The Men's 3s started the silverware ball rolling this weekend with their 6-0 win in the West District Cup final against Hillhead on Saturday. This adds to their West District League Championship.
