After 18 months on the side lines with a serious ankle injury, Kyle Bannerman made his competitive return to hockey last night as he captained the U18 Wildcats Boys team to 2 victories which gained qualification to the Scottish Cup U18s Finals day.
Kyle injured his ankle in August 2016 while on International duty and was operated on in June and he has been on the comeback trail ever since. His return to play is testament to his hard work over the last year or so in what has been a very frustrating period of time for him. On last nights display he has lost none of his composure or skill and once the cob webs are fully blown away he will be an excellent re-addition to the 1st team training squad. The Club is delighted to have Kyle back available for selection again.
