We had the usual mixed bag of results this weekend. The Men's 1s take pride of place following their classy 4-1 demolition of Edinburgh University. Rob Harwood (2), Andrew McConnell and Hamish Galt did the damage. Western go into their play-off semi against Grange on 12th May with some very decent form under their belt.
The girls were beaten 3-1 by Edinburgh University. This leaves them hoping for a favour from GHK who need to take points off Watsonians if Wildcats are to make the play-offs.
The Men's 2s scratched out a 0-0 draw away to Grange 3s and so maintain their Division 1 status. The 3s lost 7-4 to GHK 2s in what was apparently the World Cup Final and the 4s drew a good game 0-0 with Hillhead.
