Saturday's Big Birthday Bash was a huge success with terrific hockey throughout the day and a brilliant dinner at night.
Our thanks go to Hockey for Heroes for their contribution to the day's activities and they also take our best wishes with them as they work through their gruelling eight day schedule to raise money for veteran's charities. Thanks also to Scottish Hockey for putting up a very decent side to take on the Men's 1s in their game and to Hillhead for providing the opposition for our U15 boys on Friday night. Also, a big thank you to all who umpired throughout the day.
Well over 100 guests enjoyed the dinner and danced the night away till 1am. Our congratulations to the award winners and thanks to Anne Wotherspoon of Scottish Hockey who presented the club with a quaich to celkebrate 120 years (pictured).
The biggest thanks of all, however, go to Kaz Cuthbert and Anna Sommerville without whom none of it would have been possible.
