This Saturday sees both first teams in action in the play-off semi-finals. The men are in Dundee to play Menzieshill at DISC (1600) while the women play Edinburgh University at Peffermill (1600). Neither game will be easy but each is one we can hope to win.
The top of both men's and women's competitions are as open as they have ever been with each of the top four teams capable of beating the other. This makes the play-offs hugely exciting and realistically any of the teams involved could progress and secure the top European places.
The boys have played beaten Menzieshill at DISC twice in the past two seasons and won both and this season they have beaten them twice outdoor and twice indoor. The Dundonians sneaked sneaked second place with a final day 1-0 win over champions Grange but this game is likely to be very, very tight.
The girls have really started to mix it with the traditional big guns and can go into their semi-final with the memory of a 3-2 win over the students at Peffermill fresh in the memory.
Grange host Uddingston in the other men's semi-final while it's Clydesdale Western v Dundee Wanderers in the other women's semi.
Elsewhere, the Men's 3s are at Garscube to play Glasgow University (1600) and the 4s are at home to Clydesdale 5s (1230).
