Between the national and regional leagues not having started yet and the boys' inter-districts, there isn't a lot of club hockey this Saturday.
The Men's 3s are at home to Helensburgh (1330), a team over which they had something of a hoodoo last season. Western look strong with virtually a full squad and will aim to build on last Saturday's excellent 1-0 win over Clydesdale.
The Women's 3s are away to Stepps 2s off the back of an outstanding 10-1 thrashing of Ardrossan last week. The Men's 5s also play Stepps 2s.
The Men's 1s are in Leeds this weekend as they complete their pre-season preparations with two friendlies against English opposition.
