it is with great pleasure that my first email is to publicise a club and community event. Below you will find the plan for club Open Day which promises to be a busy day for you, as well as our organisers and volunteers who have already worked hard behind the scenes to bring this to fruition. While the day is broken down into time slots, please be aware that there will be something for everyone throughout the entire day, whether it is to marvel at the emerging talents, challenge yourself, or simply relax with a nice cold drink and a hot roll. Please note, we have taken the step to being contactless for all transactions.
This is an event that aims to rekindle that feeling of the hockey club being at the core of what we do and who we are. Our hobby, our sport, our club, our passion.
Please make the effort to attend and make this a day to remember by bringing family and friends, where you can catch up with fellow players who you haven't seen for a long time and re-ignite the competitive spirit just in time for the return to competitive hockey.

SAVE THE DATE : SATURDAY 28TH AUGUST
A fun filled day down the club for everyone!!
Our open day is the perfect place to do it all! With home baking stalls, BBQ, bar, bouncy castle and much more, make sure you pop down and see us on the 28th.
Schedule of events:
10am -12pm Parahockey
- A session for our para-athletes who want to give hockey a go. Specialist equipment and plenty of support staff provided to ensure a safe and fun time is had by all.
12pm - 2pm Youth Festival
- 11.30am registration for any U14s wanting to participate in a mixed festival of games and competitions.
2pm - 4pm Adult Festival
- 1.30pm registration for all senior club members or new comers for a summer slam mixed tournament.
Open to members AND non members so bring your friends, family and your neighbours.
Card payment available for food, drinks and stalls on the day.
Any donations of home baking or raffle prizes on the day would be greatly appreciated.
