Hockey in 2021 draws to a close this weekend with a final round of indoor fixtures.
The Men's 1s face fellow title challengers Inverleith (0915) and Menzieshill (1350) at Bells on Saturday. Western will be keen to sustain their lead at the top of the table, especially with the possibility (hopefully remote) that the team top at Christmas could be declared champions in the event of a shutdown.
The Men's 2s play Hilhead (1150) and Monarchs (1530) at the Peak in Stirling. The boys have performed well in games which have mainly been against first team opposition so let's hope they can go into 2022 with a couple of wins.
On Sunday, the Women's 1s play Grove (0915) and Inverleith (1350). Their campaign has been a solid one thus far and they should be confident going into these games.
