U15 GIRLS INDOOR

The young team made the trip to Perth to play in their first ever indoor event. Fraser Moran had the team well organised and they certainly didn’t look out of place. The team won their league undefeated with a 5 nil victory over Uddingston, followed by a 1 nil victory over Granite City and a 2-1 victory over Grove. Being top of their section the girls were drawn against Edinburgh Castle in the semi final. Tiredness played its part but they went down fighting eventually losing the match 4-1 to a very well organised team. A fantastic performance from the team which was acknowledged by the event organisers and opposition coaches. Thanks to the parents who cheered on from the sidelines. Definitely a bright future ahead for this bunch who maintained the reputation of Western Wildcats in Scottish Hockey.
