Our first teams got their seasons of to a flyer on Saturday with two convincing wins. The men hammered Uddingston 7-1 while the women thumped Dundee Wanderers 5-1.
Elsewhere, things didn't quite go as well with availability issues impacting the men's section especially. The 2s were winning 2-0 but eventually succumbed to a 5-3 defeat. The 3s were 1-0 up but lost two late goals for a 2-1 defeat. The less said about the 4s 17-0 thrashing at Giffnock the better, quite frankly, while the the 5s lost 3-1.
The Women's 2s lost 4-0 but the 3s (pictured) won 7-4 in Arran. The 4s lost their first ever competitive game 5-2 despite playing well.
