The Men's 1s made slightly heavier weather than strictly necessary in their 7-0 and 4-0 wins over Erskine Stewart's Melville and Hillhead respectively. In both games they wasted chances and should have won by more. However, they sit top of the Premiership on goal difference ahead of their trip to the EHL this coming weekend.
The Women's 1s beat Inverleith 3-1 on Saturday but were overpowered 4-1 at home to champions Watsonians on Sunday. Two wins from three is a decent return from their first three games, though, and they are handily placed in fifth in the Premiership table.
The Men's 2s blew a two-goal lead for the second week in succession as they lost 3-2 to Grange 2s in Edinburgh.
