Western Wildcats Hockey Club

With two good wins last Sunday our girls are aiming to consolidate their position in National League Division 1 indoor. They have a very difficult opening game against MCC Western. However, later in the day they play Inverleith and should be confident of three points. The team is playing well under the leadership of internationalist Kaz Marshall and her influence is proving important both in a coaching capacity and as a first class player who is scoring goals.

Saturday could be a defining day in the boys' season. They play Dundee Wanderers then Kelburne and both games could go either way. Wanderers are nothing like the indoor force they once were but will still be well organised. Kelburne's strength varies from week to week and this fixture will be determined largely by which Western and Kelburne teams turn up.
