The Milngavie and Bearsden Sports Club AGM is scheduled for 7.30pm on Thursday 8th March. This is an important event and senior members should strive to attend.
After a number of years service Ally Reid will step down as President and Vishal Marwaha will step down as Treasurer. Bobby Whitney, one of the archers and the current sports club Vice-president, has intimated his willingness to take on the presidency. At this moment, we do not yet have a Treasurer in place. If you feel this is something you could do, please contact Ally Scott for a chat about what it entails. With the finances in good order and a lot of the processes becoming automated this job is not nearly as onerous as it was previously. From a hockey club point of view it would also be good if we could support the sports club by taking one of the more senior committee roles.
