Titwood is the place to be this Saturday afternoon (there's a first time for everything, I guess) with both first teams facing Clydesdale.
The men are on first (1600) and will look to take advantage of Clydesdale's recent dip in form following a strong start to the season. In contrast, Western are motoring with two good recent wins against Menzieshill and Uddingston. Hopefully we'll see them go three from three. However, games against Clydesdale are rarely straightforward and they are capable of springing a shock so Western must play well to win.
After the men at the frankly bizarre time of 1730 (are BT televising it or something?) are the women. Our girls are second with Clydesdale Western just a point behind in third so this one is massive.
Kaz is delighted with how Wildcats are playing and is confident that they can secure another win on Saturday.
"We're playing well and putting together some great results," she said. "We've a really strong squad but if you look at the spine of the team with Dani MacMurray, Becky Ward and Kate Holmes you can see a big part of where our success comes from. Add to that Alex Stuart scoring so many goals and I'm really pleased with what we've got."
Also on the road are the Men's 2s who go to eighth place Menzieshill (1500) aiming to keep things going after last weekend's wins.
At Auchenhowie there are only two games. The Men's 4s play Helensburgh 2s (1300) who they are level on points with and the Women's 2s host Rottenrow (1430).
