We had been hoping to have all of the work on the area surrounding the pitch completed by Saturday. However, the heavy rain over the past few days has meant that the contractors carrying out the groundworks are a few days behind schedule and this deadline will almost certainly be missed.
The good news is that the fencing works were completed several weeks ago and the new dugouts have been put together and are in use as of last night (pictured). The paving of the spectator area is the only bit of work still to be done. This means that spectators will need to watch the hockey from beside the touchline on the far (Murray Park) side rather than fromthe spectator area.
