It wasn't to be for the Women's 1s as they went down 2-1 to Dundee Wanderers. With Clydesdale Western's shock draw with Glasgow University, the league looks like Edinburgh University's to lose. However, if our girls win their remaining three games they should be good for a top-three finish.
The Women's 2s lost 8-2 to champions Rottenrow. The 3s game was called off.
The Men's 1s beat Gordonians 6-0 in Aberdeen with Rob Harwood notching a hat-trick, Joe McConnell getting two and younger brother Andrew one. Given Gordonians' woes this season 6-0 is probably about par and keeps the boys in second place.
The Men's 2s suffered yet another loss. They were defeated 3-0 at home to Kelburne for the second time in six days. The 3s won a niggly game with Ayr 5-4. The 4s game was off but they got together for a training session anyway.
