The Men's 1s dropped points in their rescheduled game against Kelburne last night after a disappointing 4-4 draw.
Western started strongly and were 2-0 up early on after Rob Harwood and Fraser Calder scored. They dominated the first half and should have put the game to bed by half time but were to rue missed chances as Kelburne fought back in the second period.
Having been pegged back to 3-3, Western took the lead again through Fraser Moran. However, a Kelburne side who pressed aggressively and caused Western problems as the game went on scored a fourth and the succession of opportunities the visitors passed up came back to haunt them.
