There were two big wins at Auchenhowie with the Women's 1s hammering Glasgow University 6-0 and the men rampaging to a 7-0 win over Hillhead.
In the girls' game Ava Smith nabbed an early opener in the first few minutes after a rampaging run by Cuthbert played the ball forward and was guided over the line. This set the tone for a dominant first half performance. Lucy Findlay was locked and loaded for two
back post tap ins making it 3-0 at half time.
The
2nd half followed suit with Lucy Findlay securing her hat trick after a great through ball from Catriona Booth. Megan Cox then joined the score sheet after some unselfish play by Alex Stuart and Becky Ward not to be left out slots home a power shot from top
D to seal the deal at 6-0.

The men were always the better side against Hillhead and could easily had more in a second half where the visitors struggled to cope with Western's firepower. Andrew McConnell led the way with a stunning hat-trick, Rob Harwood and Niall Somerville each got two.
The Men's 2s also won 6-0, flattening Grange 3s over in Edinburgh while the Women's 2s drew 3-3 away to Ayr.
