It was a great day for Wildcats at Auchenhowie. The Women’s 1s had a convincing 6-0 win against Grove. Hat-trick hero and MVP Olivia Finch set the tone and she was joined on the score sheet by Kate Holmes, Lucy MacMillan and Alex Stuart.
Our Women’s 2s weren’t far behind with a 5-0 win against St Andrews University. This was a solid effort from all of the team in securing the convincing win. Goals scorers, Natalya chase (3), Lucy Findlay and Anna Murray.
The Men’s 2s won 7-0 away to Kelburne in a game that was closer than the score might suggest with most of the goals coming in the final quarter. Cammy Moran smashed in four, Euan Cowan bagged a brace and Luke Bannerman got the other.
The 3s played well and were worth a draw in their Titwood encounter with Clydesdale 3s but were edged out 2-1 in a very good game of hockey. Alastair Scott scored their goal.
The 4s won 5-0 at home to Hillhead and the 5s beat Clydesdale 5s 4-3.
