Our first hockey of 2022 takes place tomorrow as the Men's West District leagues wheeze back into action.
The Men's 3s, widely acknowledged as the premium performance side at the club this millenia, open the second half of their Division 1 campaign against old foes Kelburne 3s at GNHC (1220). Western are mid-table but a decent run could see them climb the rankings fairly quickly so tight is the division.
The Men's 4s have ripped up Division 3 before Christmas and will no doubt aim to do the same again in the new year. In truth this is a team playing a division below their true level so they really should be this dominant. Kelburne 4s provide the opposition tomorrow at Glasgow Green (1400) and should make this a decent contest.
The 5s have had a reasonable season so far. They are at away to Stepps 2s in what could be a tough game.
