We have a bumper weekend of hockey in store with a full card of league fixtures on Saturday followed by cup games on Sunday.
The Women’s 1s are in the capital for two midday matches. On Saturday they face of against third place Edinburgh University before Sunday’s tie against bottom side Erskine Stewart’s Melville. The ladies have been playing well in the face of some adversity lately without getting results performances deserve. Hopefully this weekend we see the results.
The Women’s 2s are at home on Saturday at 1630 against second top GHK 2s while the 3s host Loch Lomond at 1500.
The Men’s 1s welcome Clydesdale on Saturday at 1330 before a mouthwatering home tie in the cup against Grange on Sunday (1400). The boys are looking to keep their outstanding unbeaten run going.
The Men’s 2s are home to Edinburgh University 3s on Saturday (1200) before a trip along the M8 to face Erskine Stewart’s Melville 2s in the District Cup on Sunday (1530).
The 3s are away to Helensburgh 3s (1115) on Sunday as they aim to keep the pressure up at the tope of West 1. On Sunday they go to Grange 4s (1400).
The Men’s 4s are away to Stepps 2s on Saturday (1100) while the 5s are also away, to Ayr 2s.
