This Saturday is a day with plenty of hockey at Auchenhowie but, crucially, is an important fundrasier for Glasgow Samaritans.
Club President Murray Laing said, "Days when we have a lot of teams at home are vital to the continuing development of the club and our ethos. We preide ourselves on how integrated and inclusive we are and it's important to re-establish that ethos post-Covid with players from different teams watching and supporting others from around the club."
"From a wider perspective, this fits well with what we are striving for on Saturday: supporting others who need our help. As a club we have an important role to play within our community. The work we do to support others, in this case Samaritans, should be seen as something that is at our core."

The hockey starts at 1100 with the Men's 3s and continues throughout the day. The Men's 1s are at 1400 against Clydesdale and the Women's 1s are at 1530 against Uddingston.
