Good luck to our Men's 1st Team who face Inverleith in the Scottish Indoor Final on Saturday at Bells (1430). Western aim to retain their title and lift a third championship in four seasons. A victory would also see another European trip booked in for next season.
Vish is up for the challenge. He said, "Winning any national title is massive. As a group of players and a club that's where we want to be: competing in finals and winning trophies."
"It will be a tough game against Inverleith," he went on. "They have improved since last season and are probably favourites on form and results. However, I firmly believe that if we play to our potential we will win. We have such a talented group."
"If I have to single anyone out it would be Andrew McConnell. His goals make such a difference. We have good players right through the squad, though, and our depth is one of our main strengths."
Elsewhere, the Men's 4s are at home to Giffnock (1230), the Men's 3s are away to Rottenrow (1415) and the Women's 4s are at home to Ayr (1615).
