Two excellent wins over the weekend see our Women’s 1s cementing third place and building momentum just when it matters.
They came back from a goal down to pinch a 2-1 victory at the death on Saturday against GHK. On Sunday, a controlled performance saw them see off Clydesdale Western 3-1. Wildcats are now six points and 21 goals clear in third place with both Glasgow and Edinburgh universities still to play.
The men beat Inverleith 7-3 and Watsonians 5-1 to keep up the pressure on Grange who they welcome to Auchenhowie on 14th April.
The Women’s 2s lost 3-1 down in Ayr while the 3s drew 3-3 with Greenock. A huge congratulations to the 4s, though. They finally got a win - 3-1 against GHK - and were deservedly buzzing after the game (pictured). It’s been a long road but you got there, girls. Here’s to plenty more.
On Saturday, the Men’s 2s fought out an excellent game with Edinburgh University 2s which the students won 3-1. Yesterday, they beat Inverleith 2s 6-0.
The 3s won an entertaining game against Kelburne 3s 4-1. The highlight of this one was the quality of the youngsters on both sides. The 4s beat Strathclyde University 4s 4-1.
