Both Men's and Women's 1s will compete in the indoor semi-finals at Bells this weekend, each hoping to compete in next week's finals day.
The men play on Saturday. They start with a game against Grange. Western are top of Pool B on goal difference and a decent win against the Chaps should see them play one of Dunfermline Carnegie or Dundee Wanderers in the semi.
The women face Grove on Sunday morning in their final pool game and will almost certainly finish second in Pool B meaning they will play favourites Watsonians in their semi-final that afternoon.
There are a number of West District outdoor games scheduled, although the cold snap could well put paid to some, if not all, of them.
At Auchenhowie, the Men's 3s play Glasgow Universoty 3s at 1100. They are followed at 1230 by the 5s who play Helensburgh 3s. At 1400, the Women's 3s host Arran and, finally, at 1530, the Women's 4s face Kelburne 3s.
The Men's 4s are away to Ayr.
